The Inbetweeners movie will begin production this weekend in the UK and mainland Europe.
The six-week location shoot kicks off this Sunday and sees stars Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas reprise their roles from the E4 TV series.
Series regulars Emily Head, Belinda Stewart-Wilson and Greg Davies will return for the movie, joined by cast newcomers Lydia Rose Bewley, Laura Haddock, Jessica Knappett and Tamla Kari.
The feature film will follow Will, Jay, Neil and Simon as they embark on a lads' holiday to Malia. It is expected to be the only screen outing for the characters for the foreseeable future.
Series creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris wrote the movie, which will be directed by Ben Palmer and produced by Christopher Young.
"We hope the fans will appreciate the film which, we think, completes the story of Will, Simon, Neil and Jay," stated Beesley and Morris.
Young added: "I very much hope that the film will introduce The Inbetweeners to a whole new audience in the UK and around the world."
The Inbetweeners will open in cinemas on August 19.
