To thank ("Bedanken") - How does it work? [For fast posters: This is an instruction ;)]

Good Morning ;)

Attention:
This is an instruction, to give thanks in this thread is useless for all other threads!

Reading:D might be helpful ;)

For Newcomers it is not really easy to understand the whole matter with all terms and so on...sometimes you can't see the forest because there are so many trees ;) Primarily if you have no experiences with internet and forums. We all started without knowing anything and so we know how it feels, at least we should ;) So we want to explain to you one of the most important things in this forum, that is actually self-explanatory, but sometimes...you know, trees and forest...;)

To thank, what is it and what's the point of that?

If you have looked through this forum, you know, that simple "Thank-You"-Posts are not absolutely wished for.
But why?
Well, who wants to read in the thread of his favourite series always just "Thank-You"-Posts? By the way, posts that are rich in substance will be easily overlooked.
In perpetuity it is just annoying.
If you want to say "Thank You" in general, you can do this in the "Thank You" Thread --> Der Danke Thread!!

In the threads of the series you encounter on the so-called "hiddentext" and you're asked to thank to see the "hiddentext". Besides many other reason, the translators, the person in charge for the project and so on can see how many fans this series got more or less.

To say "Thank-You" for a specific series, please do not just say "Thank You" in this thread. In most cases this will be delayed anyway.
In the first post of every thread of a series you can find the so-called "Bedankomaten". You can find him at the bottom on the right, to the left of "Melden" and "Zitieren".
Furthermore some thread authors put in the old "Bedankomaten" additional. You can find it at the end of the first post. You can recognize it by the big, red writing ;)

Just click on one of the two options once and you never have to do this again in THIS thread. You will be added to the list of users who already gave their thanks and from that point on you can see the "hiddentext".

You can find both "Bedankomaten" in the appendix so you can watch what they look like ;) Actually i can put them in immediately :whistling:

If you visit a thread with "hiddentext" where is no "Bedankomat", please just leave a short post in this thread or send someone of the team a P(rivate)M(essage). Then somebody will take care of that and will add a "Bedankomat".
