Showtime setzt Brotherhood ab

The number of gangland antihero series on TV has been reduced by one. Network sources confirm to us exclusively that Brotherhood, the Irish-American mafia family drama set in Providence, R.I., will not be renewed for a fourth season.

The news that the ax had officially dropped was first reported when TVShowsonDVD.com discovered that the season-three discs were to be branded "the final season." Circa May, the network declined to confirm or deny the show's future (or lack thereof). Star Fionnula Flanagan told us in February, "We're on hiatus, and we're waiting to hear what Showtime's pleasure is about that. It will all have to be balanced with what else Showtime has on its roster for this next year. Usually the shooting season was the summer, so I should imagine that we'll know soon."

Naja, war ja eigentlich fast klar, dass Brotherhood keine weitere Season bekommt. Trotzdem schade. Für mich eine der besten Serien der letzten Jahre, spannender als Dexter oder sonst son Kram

Ist zwar schon älter aber Die Sopranos. Schau ich mir gerade an innert 1 Woche schon bei Staffel 3. Hammer Serie finde ich :-)

So, bin jetzt auch durch mit der Serie.
Durch die ersten paar Folgen musste ich mich wirklich kämpfen (war aber danach auch noch ab und zu anstrengend), aber es hat sich gelohnt,
denn die Serie ist von Staffel zu Staffel noch mal besser geworden.
Die Schauspieler haben ihre Sache alle gut gemacht, fand die voll authentisch in ihren Rollen.
Mit dem Serienfinale war ich zufrieden soweit, aaaber:

haben mir sehr gut gefallen. :)

Was für ein geiles Finale...
Bin doch schon sehr begeistert, gibt nicht viele Serien die so gut mit der Storry abschliessen.
Ich möchte mich an der Stelle mal für die tollen Untertitel bedanken, ohne die es mir mit meinem gammligen Schulenglisch nicht möglich gewesen wäre diese Serie zu sehen.
Hoffen wir mal das es bald wieder solch eine Serie geben wird.
